SUL Surf Camp
Our surfers follow the Surfing England Junior Surfer scheme, otherwise known as GROM SQUAD, run by a specialised coach and aimed at fast-tracking surfing skills. Whether students are novices eager to catch their first wave or experienced surfers aiming to perfect advanced techniques, this programme has a custom-fit plan for anyone.
Alongside mastering the art of surfing, students will dive into vital lessons on ocean safety, marine conservation, equipment care, and environmental stewardship! The GROM SQUAD scheme progresses through five levels, from Level 1: Catching Waves, where surfers learn about equipment, how to ride a board and how to catch a wave, through to Level 5: Advanced Techniques, learning about good wave selection and confident board skills combined with a solid knowledge of safety and surfing. Students who surf can join at any level, and the programme can be used to prove their competency in surfing coach qualifications and competitions.
Students at any skill level can jump into the programme, which also serves as a valuable credential for surf coaching and competitions. Each participant maintains a Surfing England Logbook, a personal diary
